Chloe Callow (She/her) is a Greek-Australian director, actor and artist working across theatre, filmmaking, photography and illustration. An ACU Alumni, Chloe graduated with Bachelor of Visual Arts and Design (Honours) (First Class), specialising in filmmaking and film analysis. Chloe’s visual art has been exhibited in various galleries across the state; most recently she earned a ‘Highly Commended’ in Capture Magazine’s Portrait Prize.
Chloe made her theatrical directing debut last year with Luminar Theatre Co’s ★★★★★ season of SAMSON; and Halcyon Productions’ sold-out hit DISTORTION (Sydney Fringe 2026). For screen, Chloe wrote and directed short films PHILIA, GESTALT and 19/89 (Fifth House).
As Assistant Director Chloe has worked on CONTINUITY (New Theatre - which she also was Sound Designer); and WATCH ME SLEEP (Loose End Productions / New York Fringe 2026). Chloe was also on marketing content for DIXON AND DAUGHTERS (Tiny Dog Productions / Old Fitz), WATCH ME SLEEP, and Secret House’s critically-acclaimed, sold-out run of TILL THE STARS COME DOWN (KXT Broadway).
Curious about all aspects of performance and direction, Chloe has also dabbled in acting. Credits include 'Dana' in short film PHILIA; in theatre, as ‘Clarissa Hailsham-Brown’ in Agatha Christie’s SPIDER’S WEB & ‘Carla’ in Debra Oswald’s SWEET ROAD (Pymble Players); ‘Colette’ in John Patrick Shanley’s FOUR DOGS AND A BONE and ‘Georgie’ in Teresa Rebeck’s SPIKE HEELS (Sydney Actors Playhouse).
Chloe is passionate about the local Film & Theatre scene, and an avid supporter of emerging Australian talent, directors and new creative work.
